My travel is on another air carrier, but I purchased my flight from Hawaiian Airlines, whose baggage restrictions do I follow?
In accordance with DOT regulations, the carrier whose carrier code is on the first flight on the ticket is the one whose baggage allowances and charges would apply. In the event of a codeshare flight where the first ticketed flight number is indicated as “HA” or “HA*”, then Hawaiian Airlines’ baggage rules and fees will apply.
Beginning 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure until 60 minutes before departure, you may pay for your checked baggage during mobile or web check-in. Or, if you prefer, you may pay for your baggage at the airport kiosk or ticket counter on the day of departure.
