If I add my HawaiianMiles number on my reservation for a future flight, will it prevent my miles from expiring in the near future?
Mileage activity is what prevents your miles for expiring, and in the case of mileage accural for flights, the activity is logged upon completion of travel. Future flights will only prevent your miles from expiring if travel is completed before the date of expiration.
However, if you purchase your flight with your Hawaiian Airlines MasterCard credit card or Visa debit card, you can use the miles earned from the purchase to generate activity on the account associated with the card. Additionally, members with a Hawaiian Airlines credit or debit card associated with their account can receive Share Miles from other accounts.
